Doobie Doings, Mama Musings, Shiz My Mama Says

She opened her presents and was like, FU.

Kaila, I’m touched that you promptly wrote your thank you notes within hours of opening your birthday gifts. Now, we just need to finesse the sentiment. Or, as your Aunt Lu remarked after being handed her “thank” you card, “She gets her writing talent from her mother.” Amen to that! Keep your etiquette and your wit, Kaila! You’ll never pen a dull word your entire life. And, for the record, Nani loved the phrasing.

Sorry Aunt Lu and Uncle Doug. She really appreciated the money. Honest. See? She even signed it "Love Kaila."

I'm guessing Lexi will never be allowed to have a playdate here again, Kaila.

I have a feeling we might be asked to return those friendship bracelets.

I finally and somewhat reluctantly taught Kaila the proper way to spell "thank you." I still regret it.

OMG. I’M CRYING. This is amazing.

Maybe I’ll start writing thank you notes Kaila style and sign them with Kiera’s name and see if I can get away with it.

Humorous musings from a misfit mother

Warning! Alcohol, sedatives and tranquilizers may increase funniness. Do not read while driving a motor vehicle or operating heavy machinery. Excitability may occur, especially in mothers who can relate. Keep out of reach of children – especially mine. Their therapist already has unfettered access to this site.
